Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tahini's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity required. The position involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting, as well as working in a hot kitchen environment.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
