Account Executive, New Business Development

Thinkific is a software platform that empowers creators to build and sell online courses, communities, and memberships. We're looking for a skilled Account Executive, New Business Development to join our team and help drive revenue growth.

About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to own the sales process from lead to close, with a focus on acquiring new customers and maximizing revenue. As an Account Executive, New Business Development, you'll work closely with prospects to understand their goals and showcase the value of Thinkific's platform in meeting their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source new potential customers and understand their business needs and goals
  • Work leads effectively from lead intent to meeting, opportunity, and closed deal
  • Understand client needs and position Thinkific's solutions effectively
  • Develop meaningful relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Conduct product tours and presentations to showcase Thinkific's value proposition
  • Lead contract negotiations and close deals

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing business development role
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and outperformance
  • Comfortable juggling multiple accounts and activities
  • Believes in customer-centric selling
  • Data-driven and able to self-diagnose sales approach
