Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our Credit and Collections department, you will be responsible for generating and sending invoices, responding to customer queries, and following up on outstanding receivable balances.
Key Responsibilities- Generate and send invoices and statements of account.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing queries.
- Process cash applications and credit card payments.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding receivable balances.
- Collaborate with branches to resolve customer claims for credit notes.
- Establish credit for new and existing customers.
- Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of new clients and existing accounts.
- Support the department in various tasks as determined by the department supervisor.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in collections.
- Experience in construction collections is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Ability to multitask and reconcile customer accounts.
- Capacity to handle multiple accounts receivable listings from various branches.
