Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Record to Report team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Validating, tracking, and researching cash transactions for NPKC;
  2. Communicating with various departments if follow-up is needed for backup received;
  3. Preparing journal entries;
  4. Setting up/updating accounts, templates, and auto-tagging rules in Oracle and SAP ECC;
  5. Reconciling and monitoring assigned balance sheet accounts;
  6. Working with IT and Project teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and test system upgrades;
  7. Preparing quarterly and year-end deliverables for internal departments;
  8. Performing other activities to support the responsibilities of the Record to Report team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in financial reporting or accounting;
  • A Business degree with an accounting major;
  • Demonstrated ability to understand moderately complex processes to improve efficiency;
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail;
  • Understanding of multiple currencies and foreign exchange revaluation and translation is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS and SAP is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 per year, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
