About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the Career Services Branch, providing support for the delivery of programs and services to clients across the province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage calls and emails through the provincial call center phone line, providing exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Interview clients to determine their needs and refer them to appropriate resources, ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
  • Provide information on training and income support programs, and assist clients with multimedia self-help tools, helping them to develop their job search skills and prepare for interviews.
  • Plan, develop, facilitate, and deliver workshops and presentations, providing clients with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers.
  • Enter client registrations accurately and efficiently, using computer software programs to manage data and track client progress.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary training in the social sciences or equivalent experience providing services that assist clients as they access training and employment programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software processing applications and operating systems, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work in a diverse cultural environment, providing support to clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
