**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Parkland Saint John - Tucker Hall and Cohen Hall in Saint John, New Brunswick.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents while promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and planning resident care requirements
- Providing leadership to health services staff and overseeing provision of quality health services respecting the client's right to individualized planning of health services
- Working with existing management and health services teams to promote communication and compliance to policies and procedures
- Administering and recording prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice
- Maintaining standards of accurate and complete documentation and reporting
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Registration with the provincial Practical Nursing regulatory body
- Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification
- A clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening
- Any previous course in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care is an asset
- Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment is an asset
