About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the development of our strategic direction and contribute to the advancement of our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in policy development, planning, and accountability, as well as provincial standards, best practices, and evidence-based decision making.
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans and operational plans that support excellence in care delivery, improvement in health outcomes, and achievement of standards of care.
  • Collaborate with Network Co-leaders to design a provincial integrated plan for the Service or Population-based Network.
  • Bring a strong background in quality improvement to facilitate the development of a quality program for the Network(s).
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a health-related discipline.
  • Registration with a relevant health or professional discipline/college or association preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant senior leadership experience with progressive accountabilities for standards development, evaluation, and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Expert knowledge to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Health Executive designation.
  • Strategic planning and systems thinking.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial planning.
