Job Summary
As a key member of our Marriott International team, the Operations Manager, Food Service will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage department. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of food and beverage staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to ensure that we are meeting our budget and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in food and beverage management or a related field.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in hospitality, business administration, or a related field; 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
