We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our Richmond, BC team. As a key member of our Automation & Digitalization division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality electrical and control engineering projects that improve plant productivity, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.
Key Responsibilities- Audit industrial facilities and develop preliminary engineering designs and estimates for electrical and control system upgrades;
- Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation;
- Design control strategies to optimize performance, and program and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications;
- Collaborate with customers and coworkers to solve the customer's operational challenges and support their system upgrade projects;
- Complete electrical, control and instrumentation system design including P&ID drawings, control system architecture, and instrumentation systems;
- Bachelor's degree or technology diploma in electrical engineering (or similar);
- Experience in industrial automation engineering an asset;
- Mining and/or chemical industries an asset;
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English);
- Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%).
