About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PITA LAND BRAMPTON EAST. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Team Management and Development
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
    • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient team performance
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
    • Physically demanding role
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
