We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at Ivan Mian Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning as needed.
- Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut underlay, underpadding, and flooring materials to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
- Install Flooring: Install resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and other types of flooring to meet client specifications.
- Inspect and Repair: Inspect installed flooring for defects and repair or replace as needed.
- Remove Existing Flooring: Remove existing flooring and contaminants to prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but previous experience in the field is an asset.
- Work Environment: Work in a dusty environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
- Work Setting: Work in commercial, industrial, and residential settings, with frequent travel to different locations.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring heavy lifting, bending, and kneeling.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and own transportation are required.
