We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Ivan Mian Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation.
- Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a stable and even surface.
- Prepare flooring plans and schedules to ensure efficient installation and minimize downtime.
- Install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood and laminate, to meet customer specifications.
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of the installation.
- Prepare floors for installation by removing existing coverings and contaminants.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Excellent color recognition and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the field is an asset, but not required.
