Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multimedia Content Creator to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our news operations, you will be responsible for creating fast-paced, compelling, and informative news content for our digital properties and broadcast on our television and radio news programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative video content optimized for a digital audience.
  • Coordinate and deploy newsroom and field resources to gather elements and create news content.
  • Pitch story ideas during daily creative brainstorms and story meetings.
  • Research, write, and edit news content for television, radio, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure that content is factually and grammatically correct.
Requirements
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing, research, and interviewing skills.
  • Ability to create innovative video content and apply editorial judgment.
  • Basic still and video photography skills.
  • Ability to perform various tasks related to the production of visual news.
