Job Title: Lecture Capture and Film Services Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multimedia Content Creator to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our Information and Instructional Technology Services department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video and multimedia content to support our academic and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement video production strategies to meet the needs of our faculty and students
  • Plan and execute photography and videography shoots, including location scouting and equipment management
  • Edit and post-produce video content using industry-standard software
  • Research and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance our multimedia capabilities
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop engaging and informative video content
  • Maintain a repository of digital media records and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communication, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six to seven years of direct experience in video production, photography, or related field
  • Expertise in video production equipment, including DSLR cameras, mixers, and editing software
  • Strong understanding of sound and lighting design, color correction, and audio mixing
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
