Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce fast-paced, compelling, and informative news content for our digital properties and broadcast on our television and radio news programs.
  • Coordinate and deploy newsroom and field resources to gather elements and create news content.
  • Pitch story ideas during daily creative brainstorms and story meetings.
  • Research, write, and edit news content, ensuring accuracy and grammatical correctness.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of journalists to create innovative video content optimized for a digital audience.
Requirements
  • Strong writing, research, and editing skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in visual editing software, including Quantel and Premiere Pro.
  • Basic still and video photography skills, with the ability to add photos and videos to digital and broadcast content.
  • Ability to perform various tasks related to the production of visual news, including scheduling content feeds and coordinating live hits.
