About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to play a critical role in the successful implementation of our product strategy and supporting initiatives. This individual will lead cross-functional teams and make critical decisions about product direction, leveraging strong leadership skills and a unique blend of business and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, user workflows, and underlying business problems through market research, customer interviews, and analysis of product usage statistics.
  2. Define and steer the product roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and opportunities.
  3. Manage the product through its beta field installation and acceptance.
  4. Ensure successful implementation of product strategy and delivery of high-quality SaaS products.
  5. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers and engineers, from product conceptualization to market launch.
  6. Own all aspects of the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring end-to-end success.
  7. Develop deep knowledge of DDS's products, markets, and customers through surveys, market research, and competitive analysis.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, accountability, and ownership.
  9. Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Track and report on OKRs and KPIs, providing regular progress reports to the management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • BA and/or PM certification and/or education an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an agile/scrum team.
  • 3+ years of experience working with customers directly, conducting user research and user interviews.
  • Experience working with cloud service-based SaaS products and mobile applications in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, analytical, and inquisitive.
  • Ability to work independently and drive the team.
  • Highly organized, process-oriented with strong time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
