We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at 4325445 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing kitchen operations
- Free parking available on site
