Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DEGA Holdings Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules

Work Environment:

Our fast-paced environment requires a Food Service Supervisor who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
