About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Brushup Painting Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various tasks related to painting, decorating, and construction site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth, providing support for buildings and other structures.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt with attention to detail.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Collaborate with the team to frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work to ensure the site is safe and efficient.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the smooth flow of work.
Requirements
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions
