Job Title: Painter and Decorator Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Brushup Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will assist our experienced painters and decorators in various tasks related to painting and decorating projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment as required.
  • Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Help in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Participate in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
  • Hardworking and willing to learn.
Work Environment:

As a Painter and Decorator Helper, you will work outdoors, at heights, and in underground environments. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy materials.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week.
