We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Emterra Environmental. As a Millwright Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance and repair projects
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and install machinery and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications for machinery and equipment
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • 5 years or more of experience in the trade
  • Welding techniques, including oxy-acetylene welding (OAW)
  • Experience with conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, and compressors
  • Specialization in the green economy sector
Work Environment:

The work environment will be noisy, with exposure to odours, confined spaces, and dusty conditions. The work setting will involve machinery installation, maintenance, repair, and machine set-up.
