Job SummaryThis is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on 30 hours of work per week and experience in the field.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for bathing and shampooing animals, clipping their coats, cleaning their ears, and maintaining and ordering supplies. You will also provide flea bath treatments to animals, clip their nails, and perform expert clipping on show animals using various tools. Additionally, you will perform dental cleaning on domestic animals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pet grooming or a related field is an asset.
As a Pet Care Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. You will also be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
