Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Taseko Mines Limited. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal production and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal production.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
- Assist in the development and training of apprentices and junior technicians.
- Participate in safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
- Interprovincial trade qualifications in Millwrighting (Red Seal Certification).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
