Job Summary:

UPS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Journeyman Millwright to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our package handling facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in troubleshooting, adjusting, and replacing AC and DC electrical equipment, as well as inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing mechanical components.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Weld and fabricate equipment as needed
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth facility operations

Requirements:

  • Maintenance Journeyman (Certificate of Qualification)
  • Valid BC Driver's License
  • Essential tools and equipment
  • Safety shoes
  • Experience in industrial building maintenance is an asset
