About the Role

Hitachi Energy Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead eMobility projects across Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed within budget and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost control and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing engineered product delivery projects.
  • Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organization skills, proactive, result-oriented.
  • Business-minded with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to influence people and build trust and credibility.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and solve complex issues.
  • Very good knowledge of contractual, legal, and commercial aspects.
  • Flexibility, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field is an asset.
  • Experience in manufacturing of engineered products in electrical or transportation sectors is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional) is an asset.
