Hotel Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Super 8. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments accurately and promptly.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with precision.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, providing excellent customer service.
- Special Needs Assistance: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
