Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join CHASKA - The Indian Street Food Obsession as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and culinary skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet work schedules and quality standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Have a strong knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres and be able to provide guidance and support to staff on menu preparation and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach and ability to work effectively in a team.
