Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Manager to join its team in Oshawa, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have six years of progressive experience in strategy, corporate business development or investment banking and be proficient in Excel financial modeling.

The successful candidate will lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models to evaluate new build developments, mergers and acquisitions opportunities, and other decision economics. They will also deliver strategic financial and commercial insights to support executive leadership with strategic decision-making.

This role reports to the Director, Corporate Development and requires strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate a team of high-performing professionals. The Strategic Initiatives Manager will establish and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide financial modelling expertise to assist other groups within OPG.

The base salary range for this position is $123,000 - $196,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, OPG offers a comprehensive benefits package including a defined benefit pension plan, medical and dental insurance, and paid time off.
