Food Service Manager

Hill Top Dining/Indian Cuisine is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that our menu offerings are consistently delivered to our high standards.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Hill Top Dining/Indian Cuisine is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a combination of sitting and standing, with regular breaks to maintain your physical and mental well-being.
