Job Title: Staff Neonatologist

Sinai Health is a leading academic health science centre with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Neonatologist to join our team at the Department of Paediatric Medicine - Mount Sinai Hospital.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to newborn infants with specialized services for resuscitation and care of infants with known cardiac disease and other congenital abnormalities. They will also be expected to lead a multidisciplinary team in the care of high-risk newborns and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to newborn infants with complex medical conditions
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in the care of high-risk newborns
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in education and research activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

Excellent clinical and teaching skillsProficiency in leading a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to providing high-quality care and advancing clinical knowledgeAbility to function proficiently in EnglishMD, MBBS or equivalent degreeCertification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or comparable qualificationsMinimum of two years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicineEligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of OntarioWhat We Offer
