Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation Support Intern to join our team. As an Automation Support Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to review and provide input on potential automation projects and designs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of automation solutions to improve operational efficiencies
  • Implementing software and hardware solutions, including hardware procurement, integration, qualification, and installation support for manufacturing test of electronics
  • Debugging solutions using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
  • Supporting the development and updating of development work instructions
  • Working with suppliers and customers during project execution

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automation development and support, working with a highly experienced engineering team. As an Automation Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions and make a meaningful impact on our company's success.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a formal University Internship program
  • 3rd year of a 4-year Engineering program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management, analytical, communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Software code design and development experience
  • Hardware assembly experience (hand tools, power tools, soldering, etc.)
  • Engineering project development and support experience
