Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer Intern to join our Mechatronics Technical Center team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the design, development, and testing of mechatronics products for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechatronics products, including components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
  • Support the development of engineering specifications, documentation, and deliverables, including DVP&R's, 8D's, GD&T, BOM, prototype control plans, and key product characteristics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Analyze products and formulate engineering conclusions by applying engineering and/or mathematical principles and tools.
  • Support customer requirements, regulations, and product specifications into the design of mechatronics products, ensuring compliance with operational, cost, timing, safety, reliability, quality, and manufacturing feasibility parameters.
Requirements
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Basic competency in CAD.
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
