Closures Technical Centre is focused on the design, development, and testing of Mechatronics products for the automotive industry. We are currently seeking a student in Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science for a 4-12 month co-op placement.
Your Responsibilities- Contribute to software processes, automations, internal applications, electromechanical systems, existing business, and minor modifications.
- Support the development of designated products, including design, build, and test activities, in accordance with standard operating procedures and the product delivery process.
- Develop internal analytical and software tools to streamline engineering processes for large volumes of projects.
- Ensure customer requirements, regulations, and product specifications are integrated into the design of designated products, adhering to operational, cost, timing, safety, reliability, quality, and manufacturing feasibility parameters.
- Apply engineering and mathematical principles to analyze products and formulate conclusions.
- Collaborate with personnel in various engineering and design activities relative to product development requirements.
- Participate in global CAE activities as a global team member.
- Communicate effectively within the project team and the customer, supplier, manufacturing, and quality communities with guidance from engineering management or senior engineering personnel.
- Understand and adhere to existing policies, procedures, work instructions, and standards, making recommendations for continuous improvements.
