About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Foreman/Woman to join our team at MJF General Contractors Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit production reports to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Recommend productivity improvements and resolve work-related issues.
  • Supervise carpenters and projects, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, train staff, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to inform project decisions.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work site is outdoors, and the work environment is noisy.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to supervise 3-4 people.
  • Fluency in English.
