Shared Health leads the planning and coordination of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. This includes delivering some province-wide health services and supporting centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position OverviewThe Cardiology Technician works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide best practice Diagnostic Imaging Services on a regional basis, promoting good health and quality of life. Functions are conducted in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health, current policies and procedures, and applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Performing ECG and Holter monitoring tasks.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training – as delineated in Prairie Mountain.
- Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training with a BCLS Instructor Certificate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are required as conditions of employment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000-$70,000 annually, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
