Job DescriptionThis role is a clinical preventative hygiene specialist position where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care. You will perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening.
You will also serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients on how to maintain good oral health. Your goal will be to establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patient's expectations while maintaining ethical and professional behavior.
Responsibilities:- Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care
- Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services
- Serve as an oral health educator
- Establish and retain patient loyalty
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong educational background and relevant work experience. A successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program and registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing requirements are essential. You must also have valid CPR certification and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
