Job Title: Graduate Nurse

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Nurse to join our team at Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Côte-Nord. Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a hospital or home for the aged setting. This will involve assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide nursing care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and enhance nursing skills
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a nursing role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
