Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Millcroft Inn & Spa. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, coordinate the hiring process, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and collective agreements, and investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Research and recommend employee benefits and compensation packages, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, provide coaching and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a hospitality or service industry setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in HR software and systems.
