Job Summary

VPC Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies and programs, advising managers and employees on HR matters, and mediating labour disputes and grievances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs to support business objectives
  • Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure accurate compensation and benefits
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee development
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform HR decisions
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend improvements
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and human resources software
