We are seeking a skilled and certified X-Ray & BMD Technologist to join our team at WELL Health Diagnostic Centres. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for carrying out X-Ray procedures and examinations with precision and accuracy.
About the Role:As an X-Ray & BMD Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out diagnostic X-Ray procedures and examinations with a high level of accuracy and precision.
- Maintaining all company standards, including quality of work and results, test procedure and methodology, turn-around-time, and confidentiality of test results.
- Ensuring patient comfort and confidence in the competence and professionalism of the centre and its staff.
- Preparing reports for the information and answering technical questions, carrying out any necessary information gathering or problem-solving as required.
- Being fully knowledgeable about company procedures and standards, including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations, the booking system, reporting procedures, turn-around-time, and being knowledgeable about the equipment and methods used in other company centers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Maintenance of CAMRT or provincial equivalent certification or equivalent provincial license and ensuring that documentation in personnel file is updated as necessary.
- Maintenance of current CPR certificate.
- Experience with C-Arm procedures is an asset.
- Maintenance of competence in position by attending staff meetings.
- Evaluation of own performance and establishment of personal objectives. Participation in yearly staff performance review.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
- Effective decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
