How You Will Contribute
Selling Postal Products and Services
You will sell postal products and services to the business community and public. This includes selling postage stamps, parcels, and other mail-related products.

Sorting and Processing Mail
You will sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications. This includes sorting mail into categories such as letters, packages, and priority mail.

Providing Customer Service
You will provide customers with information and forms related to postal services. This includes answering questions about mail rates, delivery times, and other postal-related topics.

Addressing Delivery Issues
You will address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly. This includes investigating issues related to lost or damaged mail, and resolving conflicts between customers and postal staff.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, and/or experience in business administration
- Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions
- Understanding of general or post office accounting systems
- Physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
