# Job Summary

# Duties
- Assist customers in selecting plants, flowers, and gardening supplies
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions
- Maintain the appearance of the garden center by organizing products and displays
- Water plants, re-potting, pest control on plants
- Unloading new shipments and properly place and price the new shipments
- Provide information on plant care and maintenance
- Support online sales and e-commerce activities related to the garden center
- Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and offer assistance

# Qualifications
- Proficiency in English to interact with customers effectively
- Experience in cashiering and using POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and gardening practices
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for working in a garden environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is advantageous
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory and keep the garden center tidy
- Sales experience or willingness to learn sales techniques

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
