We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Marketing Liaison to join our team at Marriott International.

The salary range for this position is approximately $$63,000 to $80,000 annually.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven professional to handle customer inquiries and act as the on-property liaison for group sales within the pre-defined peak room parameters. You will be responsible for closing group business, conducting site inspections, verifying business turnover, and achieving group revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer inquiries and serve as the primary point of contact for group sales within the pre-defined peak room parameters.
  • Closing group business by negotiating contracts and responding to incoming group/catering opportunities that meet the pre-defined peak room parameters.
  • Understand market trends, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and use this knowledge to sell against them.
  • Partner with the sales team to identify new group/catering business and achieve personal and property revenue goals.
  • Develop relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, and other events.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional areas.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major.
  • PREFERRED: Large group sales experience.
