Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Consultant at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing acute inpatient gastroenterology consultations, including emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert gastroenterology consultations to patients admitted to Lions Gate Hospital;
- Performing emergency and urgent inpatient endoscopies as required;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care;
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Medicine from a recognized institution;
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology or equivalent experience;
- Licensure to practice medicine in British Columbia;
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
