Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of the park rangers team, ensuring safe and effective services.
- Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and bylaws.
- Conduct regular patrols, investigate complaints, and enforce bylaws and regulations.
- Provide public education and engagement to promote positive relationships with visitors, public safety, and environmental protection.
- Considerable knowledge of park use regulations, bylaws, laws, policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Sound knowledge of park ranger services, public education, safety, park operations, visitor management strategies, and effective customer service.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions, regularly walk long distances on varied terrain, and respond to emergency situations.
The pay range for this unionized position is $[hourly rate] per hour (2024 rates).
