High-Speed Analog Circuit Design Lead

Seeking a skilled High-Speed Analog Circuit Design Lead to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a key member of our Interface IP group, you will work closely with a cross-functional design team to develop and implement cutting-edge analog circuit designs.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in full-custom analog/mixed-signal circuit design, custom layout, circuit simulations, reliability investigation, post-silicon characterization, and silicon IP design requirements.
You will be responsible for developing analog top and sub-block specifications based on SerDes standards, driving projects and guiding junior engineers, and exercising independent judgment to identify and refine circuit architectures.

- Propose design and verification strategies that efficiently use simulator features
- Oversee physical layout to minimize the effect of parasitics, device stress, and process variation
- Review and present simulation data for peer and customer review
- Define and document design features and test plans
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
- BSEE degree and 10+ years of experience in IC design, or MSEE (or PhD) with 6+ years of experience
- Design experience in high-speed PHY
- In-depth familiarity with transistor-level circuit design and sound CMOS design fundamentals
- Design experience with one, and familiarity with several other SerDes sub-circuits
- Familiarity with custom digital design (i.e., high-speed critical paths)
- Knowledge of design for reliability (i.e., EM, IR, aging, etc.)
- Expertise of layout effects (i.e., matching, reliability, proximity effects, etc.)
- Experience with tools for schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification
- Expertise of SPICE simulators and simulation methods
- Knowledgeable in Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control/data-capture
- Experience with TCL, Perl, C, Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages desired
We offer a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.
