This role will involve developing policies, administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, and planning development projects. You will be responsible for responding to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities, conducting surveys and analyzing data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, and conducting comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
As a Strategic Business Development Specialist at Courtyard Marriott Brampton, you will also be responsible for preparing reports, research papers, educational texts or articles, conducting analytical marketing studies, and conducting social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends. Additionally, you will review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals, design market research questionnaires, evaluate customer service and store environments, and conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and the location of our hotel. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
To succeed as a Strategic Business Development Specialist at Courtyard Marriott Brampton, you will need to have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
