About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead our growth initiatives and drive business growth through innovative product development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and executing growth strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and execute opportunities to enhance the client experience, improve processes, and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the evaluation and execution of growth initiatives, including new products and product iterations/extensions.
  • Work with the credit, underwriting, technology, compliance, legal, marketing, and distribution teams to identify and execute growth strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners and external organizations.
  • Collaborate with the business to identify and execute opportunities to enhance the client experience, improve processes, and drive efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, business cases, and requirements definitions.
  • Work closely with key systems, including Genesis, MyEquitable, EQConnect, and PPLUS.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in a financial field.
  • At least 5+ years of Product Management experience in the financial services industry.
  • 2+ years of highly preferred lending experience.
  • 2+ years of highly preferred Anti-Money Laundering (AML) knowledge & Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) practices.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Established and meticulous organizational skills.
  • Sound multi-tasking skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Autonomous ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed to providing superb customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office (MS Word and Excel).
  • Sound knowledge of mortgage lending.
  • Proven ability to thrive and perform well in a constantly changing, high-volume, and high-intensity environment.
  • Elevated knowledge of fraud risk in the mortgage industry.
  • Fluency in French considered an asset.
