Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our inventory is always well-stocked.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in food service management, an asset.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with initiative and dependability.
