Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Assembler to join our team at AAA Canada. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and subassembling aircraft systems, parts, and components.

Responsibilities

  • Install and assemble aircraft systems, parts, and components according to technical specifications and instructions.
  • Use technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer to ensure accurate installation and assembly.
  • Read and interpret plans and manufacturing files to ensure correct installation and assembly.
  • Adapt to various types of assembly, including large and small components, and adjust manual or automated machines and tools accordingly.
  • Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications, ensuring the right products are used for assembling.
  • Inspect and check installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure fit, performance, and compliance with standards.
  • Comply with quality standards, production rates, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the field of aeronautics.
  • Vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of reading drawings.
  • Dexterous and able to work with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) in oral and written communication is an asset.
